This picture shows a very innovative Holocaust Memorial inside the big Jewish Museum right in the centre of Berlin. You can not wrest from feeling sad when you're in this room. It's so impressive to be there! If you wanna read more about the Jewish Museum, here you go!
This is, by far, one of the most intriguing architectural images I have ever seen!
The angle with which the photograph was taken, in my opinion, plays an enormous role in capturing the feel of this location; From the aging walls narrowing away towards the stairs, to the circular disc-like objects on the floor, you executed it well! Also, the fact that you chose to take it in colour, and not in black and white, was a wise decision, though I wouldn't mind seeing a desaturated version of it, too.
Overall, this photograph just screams feelings to the viewer, and that's just how I like it. Superb job!
This is a powerful memorial and your photograph makes me feel as though I am there.
My Grandfather comes from Germany and lived through World War II. Therefore, I have a deep care for both the German and Jewish people. This image portrays a very important message that many need to hear; remember what happened and do not take it lightly.
Wow thank you so much for your kind critique (I think it's actually more of a critique than just a comment ) My grandfather was fighting in the second world war as well for the german side so I know exactly how you feel about that! Although I'm not jewish myself, I know many people who are so there's a strong connection with both sides for me too. I'm glad you like the "mood" of the picture!
